Saw the new bridge at Long Lake trail today, hats off to the crew that built it.  Very nice touch adding the signatures!  Also, great work on the hill as well.  Today another crew was building a new bridge by Harrigan Falls.  You guys rock !!  Thank you on behalf of all of the hikers.

Thanks for your nice comments Kim!
Thank God for the trail bikers. I'm not one even though I am a bicyclest. They really enjoy the whole park.I like to hike the trails.Us hikers could use more areas like at Frying Pan Lake where there is a cement picnic table and wooden bench that looks over the lake. Well somebody who couldn't find wood for their camp fire ( in a forest!) broke some of the wood off the bench to burn.I called the proper person 3 years ago and nothing was ever done.Well now some giant I can only assume has ripped off a cement seat on the picnic table and placed it on the bench. So Rockwood Park admin. if something gets vandalized don't give up,just fix it.Millions $$$ was spent on the entrance , how about the rest of the park? Could you put 6 more cement picnic tables around for us older folks?

New Trail Signs Going Up!

All of the backwoods trails will soon be marked every 30 m in both directions with reflective trail signs. My goal is to get more people to explore the over 50 km of trails that Rockwood has to offer. Please stop by the interpretation centre any day of the week for a trail map to compliment the signs!See More
