I have spent many hours in this wonderful park through the past 18 years... when my family and I moved to Saint John, we would often take our children and go for a hike through the woods or let the children go play in the playground area or visit the horses and so on... now that they are grown, I will stop by every now and then early in the morning for a brisk walk and enjoy the beauty of this lovely park.

It has so much to offer to those who enter; a great gathering place at the Pavilion, camping with family and friends, fishing at one of the lakes, sitting quietly and relaxing or meditating or perhaps going for a hike... The common pathways are well maintained but if you feel more adventurous and are strong and healthy, one can venture off the beaten path and enjoy many area which are less accessible.

And it's accessible all year round! Each season giving us opportunity to see nature in a different way.

If you haven't yet taken advantage of one of Saint John's greatest treasures yet, why not determine that this will be the year you do!?

We are so fortunate - let's enjoy this wonderful park and all it has to offer... let's share it with family, friends and even strangers and let's make sure to leave it the same as we found it so others can appreciate as much as we do!

I wish to express my thanks to the City of Saint John and those who's job it is to keep the park in great condition.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
